About the Center

The Center for Corporate Governance (CCG) was founded January 1st, 2005 by a grant from Copenhagen Business School. Corporate governance is defined as “the control and direction of companies” by ownership, boards, incentive systems and other mechanisms. CCG serves as a forum for the advancement of knowledge in the area of corporate governance, fostering collaboration among researchers from various departments and institutions, both within and beyond Copenhagen Business School.

The Center for Corporate Governance comprises researchers in economics, accounting, finance, law, and management, along with business professionals, auditors, and government officials.

The center is headed by Prof. Kasper Meisner Nielsen, Academic Director, and Jette Poulsen Jørgensen, Center Director. The center is furthermore supervised by a supervisory board composed of representatives from participating CBS departments.

We make a virtue out of conducting research projects, workshops, conferences, doctoral education programs, and seminars.
