Alice de Koning is an Associate Professor at Salem State University, teaching strategy and entrepreneurship. Her research considers how social and institutional contexts affect entrepreneurial cognition and opportunity recognition. Her current projects include metaphors in public discourse (with Sarah Drakapoulou Dodd), research scientists (with David Deeds) and medieval Champagne world fairs. Alice graduated from INSEAD and previously worked at Stockholm School of Economics and Georgia State University.
