Career Centre offers partnership to companies

Through a new partnership concept, CBS Career Centre wishes to build bridges between a far greater number of companies and students

Invite students to an on-campus event or have an auditorium named after your company. These two offers are part of a package which CBS Career Centre has offered to a number of companies with great success.

A lot more companies will now be able to access activities that help establish contact between companies and students. The new concept is launched in 2014.

- The aim of the new concept is to promote the business community even more at CBS. We would like to cooperate with more companies, small and large. The students will thus be exposed to different companies, which might be their future work place, says Mette Bay Holm, Career Centre Team Lead.

The new concept makes it easier for more companies to engage in activities with students and recruit potential colleagues. As something completely new, the companies can choose single activities instead of signing up for a whole package. In this way, the offer becomes more transparent, says Mette Bay Holm.

Students demand a broader variety of companies
The majority of CBS' 21 current partner companies are from the finance or consultancy sector. It has been a great success for students as well as companies, says Mette Bay Holm, however, a lot of students have expressed their wish to meet a broader range of companies.

- The students would like to become acquainted with a broader variety of companies. Some of them have asked for activities with communication agencies and advertising agencies, says Mette Bay Holm.

In the coming months, CBS Career Centre will meet current partners and future potential partners.
