New Academic Director at the Competitiveness Platform and a farewell reception for Torben Pedersen

Following an exhaustive recruitment search, we are extremely pleased to announce Professor Thomas Ritter from the Department of Strategic Management and Globalization as Academic Director at the CBS BiS Competitiveness Platform.Thomas Ritter will be replacing Professor Torben Pedersen who as from January will be enriching the knowledge of students at the Bocconi University in Milan, Italy.

As from 1 January 2014 Thomas Ritter will co-lead the Competitiveness Platform with Academic Director Christer Karlsson.

Thomas Ritter is Professor of Market Strategy and Business Development at the Department of Strategic Management and Globalization. His research focusses on market segmentation and customer insight, value creation in business relationships and firms and business modelling. He has a rich publication record and his work is widely cited. He is also known in the business community for his engaging and thought-provoking talks as well as for his executive develop-ment programs. Thomas Ritter combines academic rigor and business relevance which is an important combination for contributing to the Competitiveness platform.
