Green Asia Conference on May 14-15

In order to capture the dynamics and impacts of new energy industries and new initiatives on climate governance in Asia, Asia Research Centre (ARC), Dept. of International Economics and Management (INT), is organizing an international conference at CBS on 14-15 May 2014.

The purpose of the international conference is two-fold: First the conference aims to contribute to new academic knowledge about Asia’s emerging new energy companies’ competitive conditions and the ways in which different Asian countries’ administratively and executively seek to tackle the climatic and environmental challenges they face. Second, the conference aims to be a forum for practical knowledge discussions that can benefit Danish and western companies engaged in Asia.

The conference presenters will include researchers and practitioners from seven different countries all of which have specific expertise within either climate governance or new energy industries in Asia. Due to a limited number of seats, signing up is necessary and binding and is done on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. Please sign up at arc.int@cbs.dk and state whether you participate on both May 14 and May 15 or just one of the days. (Registration does not include lunch!)
