Flex E-MBA class '13 returns from Oxford
The CBS Flexible Executive MBA class '13 has just returned from a Leadership Training Event in Oxford, England as part of their Leadership & Organisation course. During the 4-day programme, participants studied the lives of two great and contrasting leaders in British History both with links to Oxford, Winston Churchill and William Morris. The location offered a unique educational and historic landscape for participants to reflect on and develop their own leadership persona and skills.
Faculty from Copenhagen Business School, Oxford, and Warwich Business School lead the class in lectures about the two historical leaders and the group enjoyed guided tours of some key sites from Churchill and Morris’ lives.
A range of questions were explored, allowing the Executive MBA students to gain further insight into their own leadership potential and build on what they have been learning in the classroom. Some questions explored include: What has shaped my beliefs? What role does formal education have in shaping leaders and leadership? How do I make decisions? How do my personal interests, practical learnings and acquired abilities shape my leadership?
