Panel debate at Local Government Denmark's summit conference on children and young people
Last week Academic Director Carsten Greve participated in a panel debate at Local Government Denmark's summit conference on children and young people. The conference shed light on the political responsibility for the development of positive communities and learning environments in the Danish education system. Amongst others Carsten pointed how recent reforms at the education area has gained a much more holistic and coherent target engaging a higher number of actors. Carsten initiated a debate on how to ensure that the reforms the public sector undergoes actually will work as intended. In relation to this he pointed that paticulary the educational area in Denmark has in recent years be challenged by both a high school reform and a public schools reform.
