CBS confers three honorary doctorates
Every year in connection with CBS' Annual Celebration, researchers, who have made remarkable contributions to research, dissemination and teaching, are honoured. On the evening of Friday 20 march, the three new honorary doctors will be celebrated. The honorary doctors often have a close cooperation with one or more departments at CBS and the celebration encourages further cooperation in the future.
The 2015 honorary doctors are:
World-leading Professor of International Business
Peter J. Buckley, Professor, University of Leeds, is among the three who will be appointed honorary doctors in 2015 at CBS. He is appointed by the Department of Strategic Management and Globalization. He is Professor of International Business, founder and director of CIBUL and director of the Business Confucius Institute at the University of Leeds.

Pioneer in the relatively new field of household finance
John Y. Campbell, Professor, Harvard University, is appointed by the Department of Economics CBS. He is Professor of Economics and has made a significant impact in the area of household finance, among others. He has served as President of the American Finance Association.

Most frequently quoted Professor of Law in the US
Cass Sunstein, Professor, Harvard University, is appointed by the Department of Intercultural Communication and Management at CBS. He is Professor of Law, founder and director of the educational programme ”Behavioral Economics and Public Policy” at Harvard Law School. He has authored the bestselling book Nudge: Improving Decisions about Health, Wealth, and Happiness from 2008, and is said to be the most frequently quoted Professor of Law in the US.
