The relationship between the US and China after the meeting between Presidents Obama and Jinping
For many years the relationship between the US and China has been strained. In September Presidents Obama and Jinping met in Washington to improve the relationship between the two superpowers. Mr. Xiong Zhiyong, Professor in Chinese foreign policy, will in his talk explain the complicated relationship and what we can expect from the US-Chinese relationship in the near future.

The influence of digital media on politics
Has digital media development changed how politics work and who counts as political players? A 'political player' used to mean someone who was part of the political, media or cultural elite, but these days ordinary people can become political players if they just reach enough people through digital media. This shift and its significance for politics will be the focal point for the key note speakers; Nick Couldry (London School of Economics and Political Science), Anastasia Kavada (University of Westminster) and Guobin Yang (Annenberg School for Communication).
