Invitation to doctoral defence at CBS

On Friday November 27, CBS will host Professor Ove K. Pedersen’s doctoral defence.

On November 27, in order to obtain the doctorate degree in philosophy, Professor Ove K. Pedersen from the Department of Business and Politics at CBS will defend his doctoral thesis Konkurrencestaten and Markedsstaten.

Taken together Konkurrencestaten and Markedsstaten, from 2011 and 2014 respectively, form an analysis of the birth and the transformation of modern Danish statehood.

Whereas Markedsstaten is an analysis of the birth of modern Danish statehood from 1600s to 1910, Konkurrencestaten is a study of the ways the state has transformed over the past 25-30 years and of the reasons why.

The doctoral defence will take place between 13 and 19.    

The defence is open for everybody. However, for the sake of organization, please register in advance if you wish to attend.
