Short Biography:

Nick White's research focuses on the history of decolonisation (particularly in Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia) and in international business history (particularly in ocean-going shipping). He is the co-director of the Centre for Port and Maritime History, a joint enterprise between Liverpool John Moores University, the University of Liverpool and Merseyside Maritime Museum.
