CBS secures the coveted AMBA accreditation for another five years
Every five years, CBS needs to submit itself to rigorous assessment by the Association of MBAs, AMBA, in order to secure its coveted stamp of approval. The procedure involves faculty, staff and alumni and signals the highest level of quality and excellence in MBA programme delivery.
“After being through a meticulous assessment, we are pleased to announce that AMBA has yet again awarded us its accreditation, known globally for being a symbol of the highest quality in MBA programmes,” says Poul Hedegaard, MBA Programme Director at CBS. “It is a clear differentiator for us as a school to be able to display the triple-accreditation: AMBA, EQUIS and AACSB, and sets us apart from international competitors.”
The AMBA report commended all CBS MBA programmes for benefitting from good academic and professional leadership that is clearly committed to their sustainability and the wellbeing of participants. The accreditation institution also noted that alumni were particularly enthusiastic about the series of talks, workshops and other events that the CBS MBA Alumni Association has organised in recent years. Furthermore, AMBA was impressed with how the Executive MBA in Shipping and Logistics, also known as the Blue MBA, has successfully established itself as a preeminent executive education in Europe, stating that “the Blue MBA currently benefits from strong and ambitious leadership that is particularly well-connected to the industry it caters to.”
CBS was first accredited by AMBA in 2007. In addition, CBS is also accredited by AACBS and EQUIS, propelling it into the international league of business school that hold all three, known as the triple-crown, awarded to less than one percent of global business schools.
