ShippingWatch: Future shipping top executives worry about one thing in particular
Participants in the Blue MBA class of 2019 exchanging ideas during a well-deserved break.
ShippingWatch follows five top executives from widely different branches of the shipping sphere currently participating in the Blue MBA. They all work in the shipping sector, though far removed from each other, with distances spanning Australia to Gambia, from parties drilling oil out of the underground to the ones receiving container ships in the terminals where the ships berth. They have 10 to 20 years of experience and some degree of executive responsibility, but with ambitions for more, and no doubt dreams of one day becoming CEO.
The five participants are:
- Saleem Kadernani, Group Commercial Manager, Gulftainer
- Monika Lemajic, Project Manager Thales, Australia
- Torgeir Willumsen, head of law firm Simonsen Vogt Wiig's Singapore office
- Adam Kobren, Offshore Installation Manager, Maersk Drilling
- Omar Ali, Supply Chain Manager, Gambia Milling Corporation.
In the pioneering feature, ShippingWatch asked them to boil down the challenge of the future to a single word: Changes.
