Professor with special responsibilities at CBS, Mikkel Flyverbom, offers a new perspective on tech companies, transparency and visibility in a digital, datafied world in his new book: The Digital Prism: Transparency and Managed Visibilities in a Datafied World.
You can learn much more about this at the book launch where Mikkel Flyverbom will give a short presentation of the book. In addition, Ida Auken, Imran Rashid, Kim Escherich and Orit Halpern have been invited to discuss the issues addressed in the book. The event ends with a reception.

Workshop on climate change and inequality

The CBS Inequality Platform will hold a workshop on the economic effects of climate change and climate policy such as climate taxation – and how both affect inequality. There will also be a panel debate with questions about how climate policy should be designed.

OFFICIAL OPENING: Copenhagen School of Energy Infrastructure (CSEI)

On 18 November, CBS' president Nikolaj Malchow-Møller will officially open Copenhagen School of Energy Infrastructure (CSEI). Climate change and the green transition are maybe the biggest challenge ever - therefore, CBS opens a research centre at CBS' Department of Economics, which will contribute with research and new knowledge connected to energy economics and infrastructure. The opening ceremony begins at 15:30, with great contributions from various speakers.

Fake news er en af vor tids mest kritiske udfordringer – hvad gør vi?

The research platform Digital Transformations will hold a seminar on fake news and how they pose a threat to the healthy functioning of news media in a modern democracy. At the seminar, practitioners and academic scholars from various disciplines, including economics and computational linguistics, will shed light on fake news and develop strategies to address fake news in the future.
