Presentation
Somnath is an Assistant Professor and holds a PhD in Computing Systems from the University of Siena, Italy, and an MS in Distributed Computing from Polytech Nice Sophia Antipolis, France. His research interests focus on blockchain, cloud/fog/IoT platforms, and machine learning models for improving online data and code privacy during computation. He works with multiple technologies for distinct research and developmental stages.
He was associated with multiple EU projects such as EPI, SafeClouds, MELODIC, AXIOM, and Teraflux. He was also associated with other national projects, such as ABCD (Danish) and MULE (Irish).
Apart from industry associations, before joining CBS, Somnath was also associated with Fraunhofer Society (Germany), Simula Research Laboratory (Norway), Ericsson Cloud Research Lab (Sweden), University College Dublin (PEL, Ireland) and INRIA Sophia Antipolis (France).
