Book Launch - Digital Organizing: Revisiting themes in organization studies

CBS is hosting a Book Launch for Digital Organizing by researchers Ursula Plesner and Emil Husted and you are invited.
The book discusses how digital technologies impact upon various aspects of organizations such as structure, production, collaboration, knowledge, communication, legitimacy and power.
At the event, the authors will answer questions such as:
Why does a book on digital organizing open with stories from the 1830s? And what does it mean to speak organizationally about digitalization (rather than digitally about organization)?

PhD defence: Vasileios Kosmas

Vasileios Kosmas’ thesis, Environmental and social issues in global supply chains targets two specific challenges emerging in global supply chains in which both the maritime sector and the international community can contribute within the context of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The first challenge focuses on the reduction of emissions in maritime transport through the enforcement of a bunker levy scheme, while the second challenge deals with the enhancement of the maritime search and rescue operational effectiveness in relation to migration by sea emergencies.
