For the eight time, CBS hosted the AQR Top Finance Graduate Award at CBS and the 6 winners presented their research in the first online version of the event on Monday September 21, 2020. The award is given to the best of the graduating crop of PhD graduates within the field of financial economics globally.

The winners’ research showed, among other things, how to improve bankruptcy procedures, how firms and their stock prices depend on customer demand patterns, the interplay of global bank regulators, how tax monitoring can affect bank loans, how much people value privacy, and how government debt affects interest rates.

There were more than 190 registered participants for the online event.
