CBS is to appoint a new external member of the CBS Board of Directors

CBS’ recommendation committee has initiated a search process to find a new external member of the CBS Board of Directors.

The new external member must take on the position on 15 June 2021. The new member is to replace Alfred Josefsen, who is to step down from the Board on 14 June 2021 after the expiry of his term of office.

In dialogue with the Board, the recommendation committee has prepared a competence profile of the new external member. The competence profile serves as a basis for the recommendation committee’s assessment of candidates matching the profile and recommendation of candidates for CBS’ appointment committee. The appointment committee will then make the final decision as to offer a candidate to join the CBS Board of Directors as a new external member.

CBS and the recommendation committee would like to encourage anybody who has well-founded suggestions and ideas for a new external member to forward them to the secretariat of the recommendation committee to make them part of further deliberations. Please note that suggestions for candidates will only be taken into consideration by the recommendation committee if the suggestion is accompanied by a motivation of the candidate, the candidate’s CV and information that the candidate is able and wish to join the CBS Board.
