Jakob Lutz
Presentation

Jakob is a PhD fellow on the 'Frontiers of natural resource and sustainability governance for a just energy transition (FRONTIERS)' project. He studies the implementation of risk-based human rights and sustainability due diligence in energy transition investments. Particularly, his research focuses on insitutional investors' ability to shape responsible business conduct in global value chains related to transition mineral mining.

As a research assistant, Jakob has studied the intricacies of business-humanitarian collaboration on the 'Private-Sector Engagement in Humanitarian Action' project. Additionally, he has been involved in a research partnership with the Danish pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk, exploring strategic approaches to measure the social impact of CSR initiatives in low- and middle-income countries.
