On October 31 and November 1, Caroline de la Porte organized a workshop entitled ‘Wicked problems, public opinion, and socio-political outcomes’.

The workshop was the first using the Societal Challenges and Public Opinion survey data, fielded in ten countries. It was financed primarily by the Nordforsk-funded ReNEW project, but co-funding from University of Sussex, the Polytechnic of Turn, KIHASA in South Korea, as well as Copenhagen Business School. The workshop was a first step prior to a special issue proposal using the data, which examines citizens’ perspectives on major societal challenges, considering different institutional contexts.
