Presentation

I am presently an Assistant Professor in Applied Business Philosophy. I studied philosophy of science at London School of Economics and business economics at CBS, where I also wrote my PhD thesis on the philosophical underpinnings of 20th century economics and sociology.

My current research interests concern philosophy of science and methodological questions within business economics. Specifically, I have a keen interest in the concepts of rationality and normativity within business economics, organization theory and sociology. My philosophical interests are broad, but mostly directed at German idealism, Ludwig Wittgenstein and Michel Foucault.

Primary research areas
  • Philosophy of science and its role in university education
  • Economic methodology
  • Organizational sociology
  • 19th and 20th century history of economics and sociology
