Monday, October 7, 2013 - 10:00 to 17:00

We are very pleased to announce this call for abstracts for the DTB Workshop, which is held in Copenhagen, Denmark, and organized by the DanTermBank group at the Dept. of International Business Communication (IBC) at Copenhagen Business School.

This workshop calls for presentations on topics concerning users of knowledge-based resources. We invite contributions for presentations and demonstrations related to the aspects of users of terminologies, term banks, ontologies, electronic dictionaries, including:
- User studies
- User characteristics
- User behaviour
- User modeling
- User adaption
- Usability assessment
During the workshop, authors will be able to share their research with scholars who will provide constructive comments about the presented research methods and results.
The workshop will begin with a presentation of the work on methods for target group oriented knowledge dissemination: An experimental approach is applied in an eye-tracking laboratory, where a natural user situation is replicated for potential professional end-users of a terminology and knowledge bank in a chosen pilot domain (taxation). The presentation will be given by Louise Pram Nielsen, member of the DanTermBank project team.

You can read more about the workshop and registration on DanTermBank's site.
