Associate Professor and cluster facilitator Mikkel Flyverbom as moderator at the Internet Day 2012
The Internet is still getting a stronger and stronger influence in our daily life and in our society. Changes, opportunities, challenges, governing and security are just some of the issues that continually are questioned when talking of the Internet. These questions will also be in focus on the Internet Day 2012 taking place the 22nd of November 2012.
Associate Professor and cluster facilitator for the PPP cluster “Internet, Business and Society” Mikkel Flyverbom will be moderator on one of the sections panel debate focusing on “Internet Governance – from full independence to governing body?” The panel will discuss how the Internet should be controlled in the future taking into consideration today’s model with ICANN and consider whether an independent Internet can be ensured or if the Internet instead should be governed by for instance an international forum.
