The former secretary general of the UN, Kofi Annan, who put social responsibility on the global agenda, visited Copenhagen Business School and the ‘Partnership2012’ conference this week.
June 10-12 2012, Copenhagen Business School hosted an international partnership conference with participation of some of the world’s leading experts from business, NGOs, and Academia. The objective of the conference was to disseminate knowledge about innovative, cutting-edge partnerships, stimulate match-making between businesses and NGOs, and communicate the newest research findings on international partnerships practices. The conference was finically supported by the CBS Public-Private Platform and the CBS Sustainability Platform.
H.R.H. Crown Princess Mary opened the conference on June 11th with a keynote followed by Minister for Business and Growth Ole Sohn. They were the followed by keynotes from Karsten Dybvad, CEO of Danish Industries, and John Vassallo, VP EU Affairs Microsoft. The former secretary general of the UN, Kofi Annan ended the morning's programme with his keynote followed by a Q&A with questions from both the audience and from students watching the streaming of his talk.
