China focused career fair to establish new cooperation between companies and students
As the Danish-Chinese cooperation develops in a number of business areas, the need to bridge the cultural gaps becomes greater than ever. But how can Danish and Chinese companies find employees with the right cultural and professional skills? And how can students specializing in China-related areas tailor their educational and professional skills to the greatest potential value and interest to companies?
"Crack the China Code" explores these issues with presentations from both Danish and Chinese companies. The presentations will be followed by a networking event for alumni, students and business representatives.
The event follows last year's success, "Mind the Gap", which saw an attendance of 344 students and 20 companies. It is the result of collaboration between the Danish-Chinese Business Forum and a number of China-focused organizations and associations on Copenhagen Business School, University of Copenhagen and Technical University of Denmark.
At the career fair, both Danish and Chinese companies will share their experiences and elaborate on their need to employ staff with expertise in Danish-Chinese business relations, cross-cultural knowledge and verbal skills. Speakers will include the Chinese company Huawei, as well as ZESO Architects and the law firm Bech-Bruun.
The event will take place on April 20th 2015 in Ovnhallen at Copenhagen Business School between 2:30 and 6 pm and will be open to all.
