A Brand New State-of-the-art "PPP Knowledge Lab" Created by the World Bank

A Brand New PPP Knowledge Lab

The PPP Knowledge Lab is a curated, comprehensive and easy-to-use online resource on public-private partnerships. Although the use of public-private partnerships to design, build and deliver infrastructure worldwide has grown enormously in the past decade, the availability of information to support governments and their advisors has not kept pace. The PPP Knowledge Lab fills that gap. The PPP knowledge lab provide links to public online databases for infrastructure, PPPs, private sector investment and other complementary resources to support analysis for PPPs. Further, it provides a PPP Cycle which consists of key resources to help understand, prepare and implement public-private partnerships, presented along the project lifecycle.

The PPP Knowledge Lab is built upon the PPP Reference Guide prepared by:

• the Asian Development Bank (ADB),

• the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB),

• the Multilateral Investment Fund (FOMIN),

• the Public-Private Infrastructure Advisory Facility (PPIAF), and

• the World Bank Group.

And was developed with the collaboration of:

• the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), 

• the Islamic Development Bank (IDB)
