MonaLisa 2.0 (MonaLisa 2.0)

Abstract:

The MonaLisa 2.0 Project is designed to make maritime transportation safe, efficient and environmentally sustainable through the establishment of a Sea Traffic Management (STM) system. The Project aims to develop means for sharing information with all interested and authorized parties in the transport chain. The system developed will be inspired by Air Traffic Management and adopted and scaled to suit the maritime sector, an approach that is likely to shorten the time required to set a new world-wide standard.
