Abstract:
The intention of this research project is to shed light on how firm’s pricing decisions are affected by pricing practices and its underlying pricing capabilities. In a broad sense, pricing is not only concerned with putting a price tag on a product, but it is to be seen as a rather complex setup of various interrelated components, such as price research, pricing methods and analytics, pricing strategies and tactics, price communication and negotiation, as well as price control and monitoring.
