Emmanuele Pavolini is a highly respected scholar in his field who can make a significant contribution tothe department in terms of outstanding research, advanced teaching in different areas, and networkingincluding links to Danish private and public sector actors.Emmanuele Pavolini is a Full Professor in Economic Sociology and Social Policy at the University ofMacerata (Italy) since 2017. As an economic sociologist he has focused his research interests in twofields: ‘comparative welfare state studies’ and ‘labour market research and economic development’.
