Tuesday, April 17, 2007 - 14:30 to 16:00

Seminar arrangeb by WELL.

Learn how the two renowned philosophers Anders Bordum and Peter Kemp reflect upon sustainable development and CSR (In Danish).

Anders Bordum will present his reflections upon companies’ responsibility towards society and the environment and their strategic communication of own CSR efforts. Integrating managerial and philosophical perspectives in his research, including Stakeholder Management and Habermas’ Theory of Communicative Action, he has developed interesting thoughts on both the normative and the strategic dimension of CSR.

Peter Kemp will introduce and explain his thoughts on the individual citizen’s responsibility with regards to sustainable development. At the core of his message is the idea that every person has a moral obligation to contribute to the solving of the world’s problems. To be able to do so we must think and act as world citizens. Come and hear his reflections upon what it means to be a world citizen, and what it takes to become one.

Following the two presentations we will open up for questions from the audience.

No registration needed.
