Guest lecture by Professor Frank Dobbin
Frank Dobbin is a professor of sociology at Harvard University, and he is an Adjunct Professor at CBS. Prior to joining the Harvard sociology department, he worked in the sociology department at Princeton.
Frank Dobbin’s research interests include public policy and firm behaviour, comparative historical sociology, human resource management, and comparative management systems. He studies organizations, economic behaviour, and public policy. He has recently published two readers “The New Economic Sociology” and “The Sociology of the Economy”. Frank Dobbin has also co-authored a book about when “Economics meets Sociology in Strategic Management”
