"Confucius Institute Cup" writing competition

Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) holds a so-called "Confucius Institute Cup" competition - a competition in writing for all people (children and adults) who learn Chinese as a foreign language. Please read the website below for more info:

In short, this is a competition in which each participant is required to write a short essay or story about values, customs, traditions of his/her nation, his/her everyday life, something which characterizes the nation, etc..

The essay/story can be written in Chinese or other languages. An essay/a story which is written in other languages than Chinese must be translated to Chinese by the participant's Chinese language teacher (both the original and translated version shall be submitted).

In the essay/story, the participant is also required to use a number of words listed in the vocabulary list below:

How many words shall be used depends on which level each participant choose.

People who are interested can take part in this competition by sending an essay/a story to jyz.int@cbs.dk and tl.int@cbs.dk  no later than November 15th, 2012.
