In 2010, she was appointed  the first-ever Equal Opportunities Officer at CBS amog the academic staff. The purpose of this appointment has been to develop policies and promote specific initiatives in the equal opportunities area.

In October, the EU formally acknowledged CBS, as the first among Danish universities, for its quality research environment. This recognition was in many ways a result of Lynn's efforts.
