Professor Jan Damsgaard appointed member of programme committee

IT to be incorporated into research on transportation and infrastructure

Professor Jan Damsgaard, Center for Applied Information Communication Technology (CAICT) has been appointed a member of the programme committee for transportation and infrastructure for the Danish Council for Strategic Research.

The programme committee will be responsible for the transportation research funds, and from 2008–2009, the committee will allocate 30 million Danish kroner. In 2008, 20 million Danish kroner is being allocated to research.

Jan Damsgaard has been asked to participate to ensure that IT solutions will be incorporated into all projects on transportation and infrastructure that receive support from the Danish Council for Strategic Research.
