An academic hub for students

  An environment that the creators of the journal think needs to be strengthened. The editors are studying Business Administration and Sociology and International Business and Politics and hope to establish an academic hub for students who are interested in the field.

- Our ambition is to create an environment for CBS students who share an interest in social sciences. Students can share and exchange knowledge with their fellow students and researchers, says Adam Baden, Co-editor of Embedded.

Contributions from students and researchers

Both students and researchers have contributed to the first edition of Embedded, which was published in September. This is a deliberate choice by the editors, as they focus on a high degree of student commitment. Their aim is that half of the articles are written by students.

Ambitions to grow

Embedded addresses students at CBS, but Adam Baden says that the ambitions for the journal reaches beyond the walls of CBS. He hopes that students and researchers from other educational institutions will contribute to the journal in the future.

Why Embedded?

The name Embedded is inspired by social sciences and its description of economic systems as being embedded in the rest of the society, which means that political and social systems impact economic systems. Economy is therefore not an isolated element, but is deeply embedded in the rest of the society.
