The winners of this year’s article competition for the language programmes have been selected
By Janie Huus Tange, Head of Communications at CBS (and member of the assessment committee)
Articles about the challenges of Facebook, digital compendiums, and boys' and girls' toilets at CBS in Dalgas Have won gold, silver, and bronze in this year's writing competition among first-year students from the BA Communication programme ”Kommunikations- og medieformer” (“Communication and medium tools”).
Lavatorial argumentation
With vivid and very youthful language full of visual descriptions, Stine Lyng Andersen, Katrine Thamdrup, and Jesper Kirkbak from class 11B have written about how CBS students are tired of unisex toilets at CBS in Dalgas Have. The article is very short and does not create much debate and who could possibly disagree with this argument? But it is well substantiated, very entertaining, and straightforward. A very nice third place and a CBS USB memory stick for you.

Save the rain forests!
In second place, we find Jasmina Viso, Rasmus Felt, Tobias Enné, and Kasper Kofoed’s contribution ”Digitale kompendier – for regnskovens skyld!” (“Digital compendiums – for the sake of the rain forests!”) - a very classic, well-argumented, and relevant contribution to the competition, which also deserves a CBS USB memory stick.

Facebook – pros and cons
Rasmus Tolstrup and Uffe Lembods contribution, “Natklub eller Networking – Facebook er det nye mødested” (”Nightclub or Networking – Facebook is the new place to meet”) contributes with argumentation, good headings, good examples, and some very relevant dilemmas. Time will show whether Facebook will still exist in a year’s time. Rasmus and Uffe will receive a CBS sweatshirt for their winning contribution.
