Maritime contracts seminar

This open seminar presents an international perspective on negotiation and collaboration in maritime contracts.
International maritime contracts are developing from more traditional contract perspective to a more dynamic and collaborative perspective. IT-solutions are presented in the industry and partnering, strategic alliances and vertical integration might influence the contractual relationship between the maritime parties. This seminar focuses on new types of IT-software, strategic behavior and globalization in a legal contractual perspective.
Professor Kim Østergaard, CBS Law Department, will present how strategic behavior can influence the international maritime contract.
Associate professor Andrej Savin, CBS Law Department, will present an IT-law perspective on maritime relationships.
Research-fellow Henriette Schleimann, CBS Law Department, introduces the topic and content in the PhD project included in the INNOship Project No. 15 ‘Servitization.
Professor, Christina D. Tvarnø will chair the seminar.
The presentations at the seminar aim at facilitating an open discussion regarding the link between IT-law, business strategy and contract in international maritime relationships.
