Rasmus awarded Eliteforsk Prize

Ph.D. Fellow Rasmus Arler Bogetoft from CBS LAW has been awarded the prestigious Eliteforsk Travel Grant Prize 2020. The prize is part of the Danish government’s initiative to encourage and highlight excellent researchers and their results.

The prize is given to some of Denmarks’ most talented researchers (https://ufm.dk/forskning-og-innovation/forskningsformidling/eliteforsk/p...).  

Rasmus is only the fifth person with a legal background to receive this honour and the first to have also passed the Danish bar exam.

At the moment, Rasmus is at Berkeley Law School, University of California, USA on a ten month research stay, where he is developing his Ph.D. thesis.

His project focuses on calculation of damages in Intellectual Property (IP) matters, where he is investigating how courts apply different types of evidence in calculating damages.
