Brush up on your academic skills with new guide
CBS Library, in collaboration with other CBS stakeholders, recently launched a brand new guide on how to work with integrity as a CBS student.
Guide: Working with Integrity as A CBS student
The guide addresses some of the main issues confronting students when they embark on their new life in academia, among these plagiarism and self-plagiarism.
With the guide, both new and more seasoned students have an opportunity to brush up on their academic integrity skills..
The guide is very comprehensive and includes, apart from plagiarism in its various manifestations, contributions on copyright and GDPR, bias in research, falsification and fabrication of data, and much more.
The purpose of the guide is to make sure that you will be able to meet the requirements of academia head on and to help you avoid any of the pitfalls that may keep you from being the absolute best version of yourself as a CBS student.
Background
The guide was published in connection with the launch of a pilot course on academic integrity that is set to become mandatory for all new students to CBS from next year. The purpose of the course is to ensure a basic and shared understanding in all CBS students, regardless of specialization, of key academic integrity issues and not least of how to avoid them to begin with.
