Jalil

Meet Jalil, a student from BSc in Business Administration and Service Management

Why did I choose my programme?
This programme was chosen for its exceptional versatility, offering a comprehensive curriculum that covers various aspects of business, including finance, management, strategy, and economics. This broad educational foundation enables in-depth exploration across multiple disciplines, allowing for well-informed decisions about future academic and career paths.

What do I like the best?
The programme’s greatest appeal lies in its diversity, both in the courses offered and the student body. The presence of students from diverse cultural backgrounds fosters a vibrant multicultural environment. CBS further enriches this experience by providing numerous high-quality opportunities to engage in societies and events, making the student journey both fulfilling and rewarding.

What do I think is difficult?
A significant challenge is surrounding oneself with peers that share similar priorities and values. While enjoying university life is important, the prestigious nature of CBS, coupled with its competitive admissions process, where thousands are rejected each year, underscores the importance of making the most of this opportunity by focusing on both academic and personal growth.

What would I have liked to have known before starting my programme?
Knowing about the extensive array of activities and events available at CBS would have been invaluable. Engaging in these opportunities from the start can significantly enhance networking across different programmes, facilitating connections with individuals who share similar interests and ambitions, or who can support exploration in new areas.

What do I want to do after finishing my programme?
Upon completing the degree, the goal is to pursue a double master's degree at CBS. Participation in various events and societies has sparked a strong interest in finance, guiding future aspirations toward a career in this field.

If I could give myself a piece of advice, before starting it would be…
To become the best version of yourself, both professionally and personally, begin academically. Embrace every opportunity for growth, learning, and connection, as these will lay the foundation for your future.
