The panel debate will focus on the topic of “Climate Finance”. What should be the role of the banks in connection with the climate crisis and what are the banks doing specifically to help solving the crisis. Should the banks stop lending to selected companies and sectors that are deemed to be exacerbating the climate crisis? Or should they lend but let the pricing reflect the climate risk? If so, how? How do the banks’ green initiatives currently affect the consumers’ ability to borrow and invest? What role does financial regulation play in relation to mitigating climate risks?

These and many other questions are debated in the panel with Lars Trier Mogensen as moderator.
