The 7th annual workshop of the Nordic Corporate Governance Network (NCGN)
Abstract:
The Center for Governance Governance (CCG) at Copenhagen Business School will organize the 7th Annual Workshop of the Nordic Corporate Governance Network, to be held in Copenhagen on June 1st - 2nd, 2015. Leading academics from the Nordic countries will present and discuss current corporate governance research; in addition there will be keynote addresses by Professor Roberta Romano (Yale Law School) on the risks of overregulation and Morten Bennedsen (Insead) on family and long-term ownership. In relation hereto CCG will invite to panel- and policy discussions by arranging a practitioners seminar and share the most recent research results and insights from our invited international expertise with firm representatives, policy makers, and regulators. The conference is relatively small by design. This aims to provide strong prerequisites for policy discussions and scholarly networking for the benefit of future research collaborations and data sharing–features that are of significant importance in small regions like the Nordic countries. We expect 30-40 scholars to disseminate high-quality research in different tracks.
