Financial Stability - Background, Effect, and Consequences Part 1 (Finansiel Stabilitet)

Abstract:

The research project will address three overall questions:1. What was the macro economical, sectorial, and political background for establishing Finansiel Stabilitet in October 2008?2. How has the state company handlet the takeover of untill that point in time private Danish monetary institutes - including both internal strategic and organisational relations, and external relations in terms of politicians', the public's, and the sector's diverging interests?3. How has Danish, Swedish, and Norwegian authorities and their respective financial sectors handled this and previous crises, and what differences were their in Danish, Swedish, and Norwegian reaction patterns?
