Abstract:

The purpose of the research project is:- To build research based knowledge on which factors that contribute positively to case solving in the Danish police force, as well as how these can be optimised managerially, organisationally and structurally with regards to inspiring an increased focus on innovation in the daily local case solving, and through the daily collaboration with citizens, users and other authorities and partners.The aim of the project is to engage and strengthen the internal innovative employee resources of the organisation, thereby strengthening the police's ability to handle external demands and expectations, as well as the position of the police and identity as an authority in the public sector of the future.
