The judgement of Centros can celebrate its 20th birthday on 9 March, 2019. We will also celebrate this at CBS LAW with a seminar on the judgement and its significance for company law.

20 years with the Centros-judgement

The Centros judgement is one of the most important judgements of the European Court of Justice and it has been decisive for company law in Europe since 1999. In Denmark, the judgement constitutes the basis for the Danish Companies Act of 2009. On the basis of the judgement, the following judgements are reviewed by freedom of establishment. By 2017, the European Court of Justice has confirmed that Centros is current law.

Course certificate: At seminars of at leat 3*45 minutes duration, course certificates are issued upon request if it is assessed by the lecturer that the course of study meets the requirements for lawyers' compulsory continuing education.
