Christina D. Tvarnø with new climate law article in Tidsskrift for Miljø

Professor Christina D. Tvarnø has published an article in Tidsskrift for Miljø. regarding losses and damages in the international climate law (original title: 'Tab og skader - den juridiske udvikling i den internationale klimaret').

The article concerns the development of international climate law in relation to compensation for loss and damage as a result of global warming. At COP 27, the parties decided to set up a fund to compensate for losses and damages resulting from climate change for small and vulnerable countries under the Rio Convention and the Paris Agreement. The past 30 years' focus on reducing greenhouse gases in a cost-effective way has thus been changed and the article analyzes the rules on loss and damage in international climate law and the future fund for loss and damage.
