Presentation and academic fields

Amalie has written a PhD thesis in climate law, titled The Internal Market & the EU Climate Regime: Interactions and Frictions in the Legal Norm System. In this work, she critically examined the relationship between the EU's internal market and its emerging climate regime, focusing on how the introduction of climate policies has created tensions within the established legal norms of the internal market. By analyzing these interactions, she explored the frictions between the two legal frameworks and the challenges posed by their differing principles. Her thesis contributes to a deeper understanding of the legal complexities and evolving norms in EU law.
