I received my PhD degree in philosophy from Copenhagen University in 2017 with a dissertation on “The Remains of a Self” focusing on the questions of solitude and responsibility in the aftermath of the psychoanalytic and philosophical deconstruction of the notion of self. My current research is focused on questions of aesthetics and ethics or ethology and particularly on the relevance of artistic and poetical expression in a psychopathological context. My postdoc project entitled “The Ethos of Poetry” is financed by the Carlsberg Foundation and investigates the liberating and affirmative potentials of poetic language from a philosophical and psychopathological perspective.
