Karla Maria Rickers is a PhD candidate specializing in the "Digital Government Innovation and Sustainable Development Goals" research theme. Her doctoral research examines how digital innovation intersects with sustainable development, focusing on how technology can enhance and drive sustainability efforts, supported by empirical data from China. This work is part of a double degree program with the Sino-Danish Center.

Before joining DIGI, Karla completed a Master's in Business Administration and E-Business from Copenhagen Business School (CBS). There, she integrated technological insights from her experience in Digital Innovation and Analytics at KPMG with a solid business foundation developed during her Bachelor's in Business Administration at the University of Mannheim.

Now, Karla looks forward to leveraging her diverse expertise to contribute to innovative solutions for sustainable development.
