Lasse Heje Pedersen receives 'Nykredits forskningspris'

Lasse Heje Pedersen has received another prize in 2012. This time it is the Nykredit Foundation Research Prize (Nykredits Fonds Forskningspris) of 500,000 DKK, which he receives for his research on liquidity crises and how they influence the price of financial assets

Lasse Heje Pedersen has received another prize in 2012. This time it is the Nykredit Foundation Research Prize (Nykredits Fonds Forskningspris) of 500,000 DKK, which he receives for his research on liquidity crises and how they influence the price of financial assets.

With the Nykredit Foundation Research Prize, the Nykredit Foundation seeks to stimulate the research in Denmark within the areas of finance, HR and CSR, which are areas that touch upon significant aspects of the daily business of Nykredit. The research prizes given in 2012 consist of a research prize of 500,000 DKK given to an established researcher as well as two talent prizes of each 100,000 DKK to two younger and promising researchers.

The award ceremony will take place on November 12, 2012.

Earlier this year, Lasse also received the Bernàcer prize which is often referred to as a prize recognizing the best European economist under the age of 40. In June 2012, Lasse's article: Margin-Based Asset Pricing and Deviations from the Law of One Price won him the prestigious "Michael Brennan Award for the Best Paper Published in the Review of Financial Studies".
